Kate says: This is a community fansite for The Sims, The Sims 2 and The Sims 3. And yes... probably for The Sims 4 too when the time comes. As it went into production in early 2009 I would be completely unsurprised to see Sims 4 making an appearance in 2014 BUT this is largely just speculation so don't quote me on that!

At this website you can find custom content downloads for all Sims versions. These custom add-ons include things like furniture and decor, clothing, accessories, houses and community lots, textures for your Sims walls, floors, lot terrains, Sims 3 patterns to use on ... well anything you like mostly! These creations are designed in a wide variety of themes and designs, we've always worked hard at improving the quality of our content, so we hope that you'll find something here to suit both you and your Sims!

Getting Started

Whilst we only have a very small number of resident artists who create here, absolutely anyone and everyone is welcome to stop by and grab anything they like for their games. There is no registration and of course everything was, is and always will be free!

Parsimonious has been online since early 2003 and in that time we have established quite a following. This means the site costs are pretty high, so if you're wondering what the odd looking blank gaps are across the site, you can help support our efforts at no extra cost by unblocking advertising on this site. We only use reputable ad networks and have tried to stamp out really terrible ads such as extreme animation or ones which play sound automatically.
